"Heritage Square" & "Shackleford Woods Boardwalk" make beautiful backdrops for photographs. We have many visitors who use these unique resources for family, prom, and graduation photographs.

Each year, the GCM presents "Heritage Day." This event commemorates one of the most prolific battles fought in Arkansas during the Civil War. This bloody battle raged near the Saline River, in present-day Grant County, on April 29-30, 1864. We take time each year to preserve this important part of the history of Grant County.
